14kt gold treasure chestThe treasure chest charm is finished on all six sides plus detailed on the inside. The top is hinged to open with a catching latch on the front. When Blackbeard first buried this, it was built of double oak planks with leather straps, now you can just see the grains of wood in the gold and the outline of leather and rivets. This is a hefty treasure chest of gold, weighing in app 7.3gms. The width is just over 1/2 inch; the depth at 3/8" and the height at 3/8". The inside has been plundered and is empty. No one will know until you open it!
Beach walkers, treasure hunters, metal detectors, fortune seekers, everyone has looked for Blackbeard's buried treasure chest... it was stumbled upon after a storm had washed away fathoms of sand. The wood was weathered and worn. We were able to take some photographs before we opened it...
