This Scottish Celtic band ring is unique in the fact that center portion of knots is actually tied and wound around the band in a rustic fashion. This is not machined, lost wax cast or carved. The Celtic knots weave over and under to form a complete joining. The ring itself is a comfort fit highly polished band of white gold while the Celtic knots are done in a squared brushed matte finish in yellow gold.
This ring as shown is 14kt size 10.5 and weighs 8.1gms. It could be done in 18kt or platinum for the band itself. The Celtic tied knot ring could be done in all one color or two tone as shown.
The pattern appears similar to knots found on Scottish stones in Monifieth, Tayside. As they are made to order, allow 3-4 weeks for yours. Try on an 8mm wide ring for proper sizing.
